Gregory Dark has worked as a producer and director in films, theatre and television, however in this interview Anne from Another World talks to him about his work as an author and in particular the first two books of what is to be a trilogy, "The Prophet of the New Millenium" and"The God of the New Millenium".
In "The Prophet of the New Millenium" Gregory writes to "complement" and "compliment" the original work "The Prophet" written by Kahlil Gibran, looking at it in terms of modern day life and describing it as "A modern day atlas of, and for, today", and seeking to bring principles into the modern age.
In "The God of the New Millenium" Gregory writes about our need to look at our yesterdays in the hope that such will lead to a less cataclysmic tomorrow. He also talks about our need as people to stop relying on the words, thoughts and beliefs of others and to think and act for ourselves.
Do not be decieved or assume these books "tell" us what is right and wrong, or suggest the principles, ideals and beliefs we should follow. What these books do is facilitate our ability to ask questions of ourselves and others, to form our own opinions and belief systems and to ask that final question of ourselves :
" Do we have what it takes, to do what it takes ? "
